AE503― Christian Apologetics 1
Required for MDiv― 3 credits. Prerequisite: TCH501- Comparative Theology.
Intellectual obstacles are generally an excuse for nonbelievers to avoid confronting spiritual truth, and that’s why we suggest you also register for “Practical Evangelism” after taking this course.
But as we all know, there is a scriptural mandate to “be ready always to give an answer to every man that asks you a reason of the hope that is in you,” 1 Peter 3:15. This course prepares students to give concrete reasons for their faith with regard to the scripture. After removing the obstacles to spiritual openness, you be able to speak knowledgeably concerning the validity of scriptural authority.
AE504 represents course 1 of a 2-course series.
