MHS502― Living Spirit-Led

    Elective for MDiv or DMin― 4 credits. Prerequisite: Cessationism vs. Continuism. This life-changing course empowers students to “serve God by his Spirit, boast in Christ Jesus, and put no confidence in the flesh” (Gal 3:3).

    We focus on understanding, developing, and managing our spiritual perceptiveness in order to walk by the Spirit. Topics include: the Spirit-Led calling and its battles, New Testament precedents, precautions in spiritual perceptiveness, scriptural modes of the Voice of God, and the Spirit–Governed life.
    The course additionally provides credit for the Ignite University Program.
